• Jonathan Brent, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Langenegger Jr. of Route 3, Newton, died on Feb. 10, four days after birth. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at Lamb mortuary in Whitewater. This was the third death in the family within about 10 days' time. Mrs. Langenegger's father, John B. Wiebe of Route 3, died Feb. 1, and her grandmother, Mrs. Margaret Hiebert of Hillsboro died Jan. 31. Surviving the baby in addition to the parents are a brother, Steve, and sister, Debra; grandparents, Mr. an Mrs. Fred Langenegger Sr. and Mrs. John B. Wiebe; and great-grandparents, John E. Wiebe and Mr. and Mrs. D. H. Rutschman, all of newton.
