Sugarcreek, Ohio. — A young Amish father of rural Fredericksburg died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head during a Thanksgiving Day hunting trip. | |||
LeRoy D. Miller, 22, a patient at Massillon State Hospital for six weeks, was granted a leave to go home for the holiday. Roy and Ivan Mast, his father-in-law and brother-in-law, went hunting with him on the Miller farm, and as they approached a small rise, Miller stepped behind a tree and shot himself. He had been ill since March of this year. | |||
He leaves his widow and an 11-month-old daughter. | |||
