• Funeral services for Mrs. Ora Sommerfeld, 93, widow of John H. Sommerfeld, were held Saturday forenoon at the Spring Valley Mennonite Church near Canton. Rev. James Hershberger of Hesston, the pastor, officiated. Mrs. Sommerfeld died Dec. 1 at Schowalter Villa, where she had been a resident for exactly five years. She was a lifelong resident of the Canton and Hesston communities. Surviving are three sons, Herman and Lester of Canton and Charley of La Junta, Colo., six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. | |||
