Mrs. Sam A. Koehn of the Livingston area met death on the evening of Aug. 3 in an auto accident as they wer e on their way to visit her children, the Louie Schmidt family. It happened on a intersection, where they had stopped and then proceeded across, only to be run into full blast from a cross road. She was a second cousin to the writer, and was nearly 73 years of age. Her funeral is today, Aug. 9, at the Livingston Church, with burial in the Winton Cemetery.

WINTON, CALIFORNIA

David H. Koehn, 79, a 47-year resident of the Winton area, passed away July 9 at the Grace Nursing Home in Livingston, where he and his wife had made their home for about a year. Just about four or five weeks previously his older brother Abe had passed away. The funeral was conducted at the Winton Church on July 14, with burial in the Winton Cemetery.
