MARION BRIGDEN-ENGEL

Marion Brigden-Engel died Dec. 17. She was born Oct. 3, 1917 in Silton, Sask., to Norman and Margaret Davis. She attended Normal School in Regina and taught at various schools in Sask. She married Bill Brigden Oct. 10, 1942. They lived on the family farm in Kisbey, Sask. After Bill's death she returned to teaching. She was a member of Eastern Star and active in Rebekah's Lodge. She moved to Medicine Hat, Alta. and married Ted Engel Sept. 17, 1994. They attended Crestwood MB Church and St. Barnabas Anglican Church together. She was friendly, optimistic and opened her life to others. Predeceased by Bill and 1 grandson, she is mourned by Ted; daughters Lois Beatty, Lynda Haug; sons Allen and Ross; 9 grandchildren; stepdaughter Vel- ma Heebner; stepsons Wayne and Ron Engel; 8 step-grandchildren; 9 step-great-grandchildren; 1 brother. The funeral was Dec. 22 in Kisbey Recreation Centre.
