—  Herman Dyck, 88, retired farmer of the Elbing community, died Sunday night at Axtell Christian Hospital here.  He was a member of the Emmaus Mennonite Church near Whitewater, where the funeral was conducted Wednesday afternoon with the pastor, Rev. L. R. Amstutz, officiating.  Mr. Dyck was born in Germany in 1883.  He came to t he United states at the age of 13 and the family settled in the Elbing area.  Survivors include his widow, the former Emilie Klingenberg; a daughter, Marie, of the home; and a son, John H. of Lincoln, Neb.
