HELEN NEUFELD
Helen Neufeld of Vancouver passed away on March 24. She was born to Wilhelm and Margaret (Penner) Neufeld on December 3, 1894 in southern Russia. In 1903 her family immigrated to Manitoba. Three years later they moved to Main Centre, Sask. In 1910 she came to a conviction of sin and the need of a personal Saviour and then was baptized . "Her faith in the Saviour and in the Word of God influenced her whole life," says the family. "She was influential in the lives of her nephews and nieces both by testimony and example. Her faithful Bible reading, prayer and testimony to the unsaved were a fact of life." She is survived by brothers Bill of Surrey, Nick of Vancouver and Arnold of Surrey; and sisters Lydia Neufeld and Selma Neufeld of Burnaby (all B.C.) The funeral was conducted by pastor Loyal Funk in the Fraserview MB Church, Richmond, on March 27.
