&#8212; Henry Bestvater, 89, who farmed north of here for many years, died Aug. 13 at the Bethesda Home in Goessel where he had been a resident since December 1969.  The funeral was conducted Saturday forenoon at the Miller Funeral Home in Goessel, with Rev. Aaron Epp officiating.  Mr. Bestvater was born in Russia and as a young child came to America with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Bestvater.  The family lived in Minnesota for a short time, and then moved to Route 1, Newton, where Mr. Bestvater had resided until he entered the Home.  A brother, John also of the Bethesda Home, survives.
