KATHARINA JANZEN
Katharina Janzen died June 7. She was born to Kornelius and Margareta Klassen Aug. 28, 1917. They fled Russia in 1929 and immigrated to Paraguay, living first in Fernheim and then in Friesland Colony. Here she married Jakob Janzen. They immigrated to Canada in 1957, settling in Winnipeg. In 1965 they moved to Vancouver. They accepted Christ and were baptized in Sherwood Mennonite Church. They moved to Abbotsford. After Jakob's death she moved into a condominium. She joined Clearbrook MB Church, singing in the German choir. Precedeased by Jakob, 2 children, 1 brother, she leaves children Adina, Dither, Erich, Leni; their families; 2 siblings. The funeral was June 13 in Clearbrook MB Church.
