Burns Prove Fatal
Wellman, Iowa. — Injuries suffered in a two-vehicle accident near here on Jan. 15 proved fatal March 7 to Lyle E. Yoder, 56, well-known Wellman area farmer and seed corn dealer. Death came at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.
Mr. Yoder was a native of Johnson County, served on the board of the Johnson County Port Producers, and was active in 4-H work.
Survivors include his widow, the former Velma Mae Miller; three daughters and two sons and their families; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eli F Yoder of Kalona; five brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services were held March 9 at the East Union Mennonite church with Rev. J. John J. Miller officiating.
