WILFRED ERMEST SEGERT

Wilf Sagert of Calgary died Apr. 26 of a heart attack. He was born to Ernest and Louise Sagert July 30, 1944. He married Darlene Sept. 7, 1968. Wilt worked 40 years in the oil and gas industry the last 5 running his own consulting firm, SAGE Resource Team. Family was of utmost importance; he spent quality time with them. His strong faith in Jesus was evident in his everyday life and interactions with family and friends. He was active in church and led small groups for men and married couples. He is remembered for his generous spirit, quick wit and desire to share God's love with others. Predeceased by his mother and 2 brothers, he is mourned by Darlene; son Sean; daughters Shanna and Heidi Peterson; 1 granddaughter; his father; 2 sisters; 1 brother. The funeral was May 2 in Dalhousie Community Church, Calgary, with Mark Jantzen ministering.
