EDNA CROISSANT

Edna Croissant died Mar. 31. She was born July 12, 1907 in Cathay, N. D. She married Peter Croissant Oct. 24, 1931 in Hilda, Alta. They farmed until 1948, Edna was a hard worker, helping with chores and at harvest, and taking in boarders to supplement their income. They moved to Medicine Hat, Alta. She was a housemother for nursing students at Medicine Hat General Hospital and was later in charge of housekeeping. She was a committed Christian, active in ladies' mission society and teaching Sunday school. She was known for her needlework, cooking, and her German food. She loved gardening. She enjoyed camping and fishing trips and spending time with family. Predeceased by Peter, she is mourned by daughter Vivian Lautermilch of Calgary; 3 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters. The funeral was Apr. 4 in South Country Village, Medicine Hat, with Murray Schmidt and Bob Findley ministering.
