Trevor Reub en Klassen of Abbot sford, B.C. p asse d away Oct. 1 of a mas sive stroke. He wa s born Aug. 28, 1940 to Cornelius and Cl ara Klassen in Ab- erd ee n, Sask. He was a willing and depend- able helper on the farm . In 1951 the fam- ily moved to Clearbrook, B.C., where they att ended Clearbrook MB Church and he sang in the choir. He became a child of God at ag e 10 with the help of Mrs. Krueger. Two yea rs later, at a Sutera Twins meeting, he rec eived assurance of salvation and claimed Heb. 7:25. He was baptized in 1962 by John Epp and joined Clearbrook MB Church . He played the piano and cello, the latt er in the Neufeld orchestra. He took a boo kk eeping course at Western Business College and got a job. He also began work- ing for th e post office in Vancouver and ea rn ed seve r al promotions until a recurring illn es s forced him to ta ke a disability pen- sion in 1979. He married Kathleen McBride Mar. 4, 1967; 1 so n wa s born . On July 4, 1973 he married Lo rna Lois Warkentine; 2 child re n were born to them. She prede- c ease d him. In his la st y ears , his health was better. He en joyed time with his children and granddaughter, f ri ends and brothe rs; played crib and chess; drove his car and looked after it. Predecea sed by Lorna and his father, he is mourned by his mot her, ch ild re n Je rom e, Randy an d Je vona; ste pchildren Bar ry and Stewa rt; 1 grand- daughter; 2 brothers; 1 si ste r.
