— Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Waltner, 85, who died June 8 at the Hillsboro Home for Aged, were held on June 10 at the Trinity Mennonite Church with Rev. Victor Sawatzky officiating. Her only survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Herman (Amanda) Rogalsky and Mrs. Henry P. (Selma) Goertz, both of Newton. Mrs. Waltner, the former Anna Jantz, was a native of the Brudertal community near Hillsboro. She graduated from the Bethel Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing in 1912, and later was ordained a deaconess sister. In 1928 she married Benj. Waltner of Freeman, S. D., and they lived at Freeman until his death in 1941. She then returned to Hillsboro and had lived at the home for aged since 1963.
