Former Freeman Man Killed in Illinois
Freeman, S. D. — Relatives from this community attended funeral services on June 9 at Spring Grove, ill. for Wilfred M. Waltner, 32, a former resident here who was fatally injured in an auto accident on June 6.
A former student at Freeman Junior College, Mr. Waltner was employed by the Brake Parts Company of McHenry, Ill. He was a member of the Bethany Mennonite Church here.
Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles B. Waltner of Burlington, Wis., a sister, Mrs. Charles Huey of Burlington, and his grandmother, Mrs. Mary D. Gross of Freeman.
