Word has been received by the Review from Mr. and Mrs. Henry P. Buller of Beaumont, Texas that their son and only child, Pfc. Rene Aldo Buller, 20, was killed in action in Vietnam on March 27 only two weeks after his arrival in that country. | |||
Dates for the memorial services are indefinite pending information on return of the body to Texas. However, the services will be held at the Plymouth United Church of Christ in Beaumont, and burial will be in the Mennonite Cemetery near Lushton, Neb. | |||
Rene was born in Metz, France and was adopted by the Bullers when a young child. He attended the Beaumont public schools and graduated from South Park High School in May 1967. That summer he accompanied his parents on a trip to Europe and remained there to work in a children's home near Strasbourg for six months. | |||
Mr. Buller formerly taught in area schools and is now on the faculty of Lamar State College of Technology. Mrs. Beatrice Buller, a former language instructor at Bethel College, teaches in the South Park School District, Beaumont. | |||

• It was learned here that final memorial services for Rene Aldo Buller, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry P. Buller of Beaumont, Texas who was killed in action in Vietnam, were held last Sunday at the Bethesda Mennonite Church, Henderson, Neb., with burial in the family plot near Lushton, Neb. The 20-year-old youth was in the army medical service, and had been in Vietnam only two weeks. The family formerly resided in Newton. | |||
