•  Funeral services for John W. Esau, 77, a retired brick mason and life-long resident of the Inman community, were held Dec. 19 at the Inman Mennonite Church.  Rev. Ben Friesen, the pastor, officiated.  Mr. Esau died Dec. 16 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Hutchinson after a brief illness.  Survivors include his widow, Helena; sons John of Inman and Joseph of Wichita; three brothers and one sister; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
