• Mrs. Susie Boese, 75, widow of Tobias J. Boese and a resident of this area since 1936, died Oct. 30 at Bethel Hospital. The funeral was held Saturday afternoon at the First Mennonite Church, with Rev. Arnold Epp in charge. Mrs. Boese was the former Susie Ratzloff of the Galva community, and was married to Mr. Boese at Burrton in 1914. He died in 1936. Surviving are seven sons, Leon N. of Melford, Ore., Howard D., Paul L., Dale E., and Wayne E. of Newton, Warren G. of Walton, and Cecil D. of Kingman; three daughters, Mrs. James Kaiser of Wellington, Mrs. James L. Riley of Lubbock, Tex., and Mrs. Delbert Friesen of Lakewood, Colo.; 26 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two sisters and five brothers. | |||
