• Mrs. Louise Voran, 87, widow of John A. Voran, died Oct. 3 at Prairie Sunset Home, Pretty Prairie, where she had been a resident the past seven years. She was a member of the Bethel College Church, and the funeral was conducted Monday forenoon at Peterson Funeral Home here with Rev. Esko Loewen officiating. A native of Marion, S. D., Mrs. Voran lived in the Pretty Prairie community for many years, and in Newton from 1944 until she entered the Home. Her husband died in 1950. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Herman Graber of Newton; one son, Leo A. of Scottsdale, Ariz.; eight grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; two sisters and two brothers, all of Freeman, S. D. | |||
