Funeral services for Mrs. Margarete Sangals, 71 widow of Gustav Sangals, were held Saturday afternoon at the West Zion Church in Moundridge, with Rev. Marvin Zehr officiating. Mrs. Sangals died Dec. 31 at Mercy Hospital. A native of Thesdorf, Germany, she lived in Moundridge from 1922 to 1943. She then moved to Newton where she was employed at the Santa Fe Laundry. She entered the Memorial Home at Moundridge in 1964. Surviving are sons Erwin of Wichita and Carl of Newton; one daughter, Mrs. Eugene Miles of Newton; five grandchildren; three brothers in this country and one sister who resides in Germany.
