THEORDOR PETER RAHN

Theodor Peter Rahn of Richmond, B.C. passed away on November 8 at the age of 35. He was born to Peter and Catarina (Dueck) Rahn in Filadelfia, Paraguay. When he was four years old, his family moved to Brazil, where they stayed for 12 years. In 1960 the family moved to Vancouver. He completed his education and began a 15-year career at Nikolai Millwork Industries. At the age of 21 he accepted the Lord as his personal Saviour following a Sunday morning service. He was baptized and received into the Vancouver MB Church. He married Anita Lind on February 4, 1967. During the past three years they have been members at Richmond Bethel MB Church. Cancer was diagnosed in June 1979. He is survived by his wife Anita; son Tony and daughter Angela; his parents Peter and Catarina Rahn; four brothers: Jake and Tina, Erwin and Susie, Hartmut and Hilda, Ernie and Elizabeth; five sisters: Susie and John Regehr, Ellie and George Bargen, Edith and Geraldo Ott, Erika and John Klassen, Luisa and Ernest Redekopp. The funeral was held November 13 at the Richmond Bethel Church, with pastors Herb Brandt and John Dyck officiating.
