Review Correspondent In Eastern Pennsylvania Dies Suddenly
Allentown, Pa. — Robert S. Stauffer, 80, semi-retired auto salesman and well-known resident of Milford Square, died unexpectedly at his home there on Thanksgiving Day morning.
Mr. Stauffer, long-time correspondent for the Mennonite Weekly Review at Newton, Kan., reportedly got his car out of the garage in preparation for going out for thanksgiving dinner, returned to the house and suffered a fatal heart attack.
He was a member and former deacon of the West Swamp Mennonite Church, where the funeral was conducted Nov. 27. He leaves his widow, the former Nettie Trumbauer.
