Lawrence Koehn, 75, who farmed in the Pawnee Rock community all of his life, died at Bethel Deaconess Hospital here Monday morning. He had suffered from a heart condition, and with his wife had come here to stay with their children for a time and consult a doctor. He suffered an attack Sunday night which proved fatal. The funeral was announced for Wednesday afternoon at the Bergthal Mennonite Church near Pawnee Rock, with Rev. Gary Stenson officiating. Surviving in addition to the widow, the former Martha Schultz, are two sons, Galen and Earl of North Newton; one daughter, Mrs. Vernon (Leona) Clithero of Newton; nine grandchildren; one brother and eight sisters. | |||
