Funeral services were arranged for 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Mennonite Church of Moundridge, with Rev. Robert Coon in charge. Mr. Goering's wife, Anna, died in 1951. He was a brother of Herbert A., Albert A. and Clarence J. Goering, all of Newton. Four sisters also survive. |

• John E. Goering, 83, retired farmer of Moundridge and a lifelong resident there, died Monday morning at Mercy Hospital.
