• P. P. Unruh, 78, a resident of the Goessel community most of his life, died at Bethesda Hospital on July 29. The funeral was conducted Tuesday afternoon at the Alexanderwohl Church, with Rev. Aaron Epp and Dr. D. C. Wedel officiating. Mr. Unruh worked for the Unruh Mercantile Store and the B. J. Klassen Garage in Goessel for a number of years, and from 1935 to 1957 was custodian of the Goessel High School. He is survived by his widow, the former Bertha Unruh; a son, Milo M. of Wichita; one daughter, Mrs. K. Eugene Matthies of Wichita; one sister, Mrs. Katherine Stewart of Topeka, and eight grandchildren. | |||
