• Jarold [''sic'' Jerald] Lee Schmidt, 21, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Schmidt of Buhler, died Saturday, May 20, at Bethesda Hospital in Goessel. Although confined to a wheel chair for some years due to illness, the young man had attended Kansas State Teachers College at Emporia. Surviving in addition to the parents are two sisters, Mrs. Kenneth Marner of Wayland, Iowa, and Jolene of the home. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at the Hoffnungsau Church near Inman, with Rev. Dietrich Rempel officiating. | |||
