•  Mrs. Susie Wedel, 82, widow of Jacob B. Wedel, died Nov. 22 at the Unruh Rest Home in McPherson.  The funeral was conducted Friday afternoon at the Lone Tree Mennonite Church near Galva, with Rev. Herman Nightengale and Rev. Abe D. Koehn officiating.  Mrs. Wedel, the former Susie Buller, was born at Halstead.  She was a long-time resident of the Galva community and in recent years had lived at Moundridge.  Mr. Wedel died in 1954.  Surviving are five sons and three daughters and their families, and two brothers.  Two sons, Milford and Martin, are residents of Newton.
