Funeral services for Elizabeth Wedel were scheduled for July 3 at the First Mennonite Church with Albert Epp and Andrew Shelly officiating. She died June 30 at the Bethel Home for the Aged at the age of 80. She had lived most of her life in the Newton area and was a retired cook at Bethel Deaconess Hospital. She is survived by a brother, Benjamin of Newton; and five sisters, Mrs. Mathilda Goertzen of Newton, Hannah (Mrs. J. F.) Unruh of Goessel, Marie (Mrs. Jake) Banman of North Newton and Tina and Arpa Wedel of Hutchinson.
