MURIEL E. DIRKS

Muriel E. Dirks, 67, of New Hope, Minn. passed away Nov. 2 after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was a charter member of New Hope Church of the Mennonite Brethren. Predeceased by husband John, daughter Terri Scheller and her father Jacob B. Schmor, she is mourned by daughters Carla McCall and Sandra Hatz; son Calvin; 12 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; and her mother Olga Schmor of Winnipeg. The funeral was Nov. 7 in St. Louis Park (Minn.) Evangelical Free Church.
