EDWARD FRANCIS POHL

Edward Francis Pohl of Medicine Hat, Alta. passed away July 21. He was born Jan. 14, 1909 in Anamoose, ND. He grew up in Golden Prairie, Sask., farmed for several years, then became a dealer for farm machinery and operated a service station. He retired to Medicine Hat in 1967. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. He is survived by wife Lydia; children Elmer of Nanaimo, B.C. and Doreen Oddar of Golden Prairie; 2 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and one sister. The funeral was July 24 at Cook's Funeral Chapel, with Mark Jantzen ministering.
