• Funeral services for Mrs. Susie A. Deckert, 84, mother of Harvey Deckert of Newton, were held Saturday afternoon at the Bergthal Mennonite Church near Pawnee Rock, with Rev. Gary Stenson in charge. Mrs. Deckert, widow of Peter Deckert, died Jan. 12 in the Ransom hospital. Since last fall she had been living with a daughter, Louise Deckert, in Ransom. She leaves 10 sons, two daughters, four brothers, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. | |||
