Accidents in Three States Claim Lives Of Four Persons

Lagrange, Ind. — A two-car collision in Rome City, Ind. on Jan. 14 claimed the life of Reuben T. Schrock, 72, of rural Wolcottville. He died about an hour after being admitted to the hospital.

Funeral services were announced for Monday afternoon at the Maple Grove Mennonite Church, Topeka.

Mr. Schrock leaves his widow, the former Susan Yoder, seven sons, three daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Arthur, Ill. — Funeral services were held at the Sunnyside Mennonite Church here Dec. 30 for Harvey J. Stutzman, 49, Arthur builder and contractor who was fatally hurt in traffic accident in Macon, Miss. on Dec. 27.

The Stutzman family had gone to Macon over the holidays to visit relatives.

Maughansville, Md. — A railroad crossing accident in Willaimsport, Pa. on Dec. 29 claimed the lives of Mrs. Leona M. Palmer and her son, Holly A. Palmer. Double funeral services were held Jan. 1 in the Pinesburg, Pa. Mennonite Church where they were members.

Holly Palmer taught at Western Mennonite School in Oregon for three years.
