Enon Valley, Pa. — Funeral services were held here Feb. 28 for Eli Y. Byler, 65, well known Amish farmer of the community who died suddenly Thursday, Feb. 25, the day of his scheduled farm sale. Mr. Byler had planned to retire from farming after the sale.
 
A number of relatives and friends came here from other communities for the sale and also remained for the funeral.

CALLED BY DEATH ON DAY OF RETIREMENT

Enon Valley, Pa. — Funeral services were held here Feb. 28 for Eli Y. Byler, 65, well known Amish farmer of the community who died suddenly Thursday, Feb. 25, the day of his scheduled farm sale. Mr. Byler had planned to retire from farming after the sale.
