Crash on Fog-Shrouded Indiana Highway Fatal to Farmer
Berne, Ind. — An accident on fog-shrouded Indiana 427 east of Hamilton, Ind. claimed the life of Noah J. Schwartz, 60, a resident of the Steuben County Amish settlement and a native of the Berne community.
Mr. Schwartz was a deacon in the Amish church. The funeral service on Monday, Dec. 13, was attended by relatives and friends from a number of states, including two bus loads from Lancaster County, Pa. The widow is the former Annie Hertzler of Dover, Del.
