Anna (Derksen) Unrau of Winnipeg passed away July 24. She was born Apr. 5, 1896 at Langdon, N.D. She grew up near Plum Coulee, Man. She married Jacob Unrau in 1914. They were both baptized July 28, 1931 in Grossweide, Man. She delighted in sewing quilts and knitting afghans and then giving them away. Predeceased by her husband in 1982 and one son in 1985, she is mourned by her daughters Hilda and Ruby Miller of Winnipeg. The funeral was July 26 in Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, with Joe Wiebe and Abe Neufeld ministering.
