Mrs. Amstutz died Oct. 6 at the farm home on Route 2, Bluffton — the same home where she was born in 1873. She could recall the earliest Mennonite congregations of the Swiss Mennonite settlement along the Putnam-Allen county line road. | |||
The former Ida Steiner,she was married to Ephraim Amstutz, who died in 1955. Survivors include four daughters, four sons and their families. | |||

Allen County, O. Native Dies at Age 92
Bluffton, Ohio. — Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Amstutz, 92, a life-time resident of Allen County, were held Oct. 8 at the Ebenezer Mennonite Church near here.
Mrs. Amstutz died Oct. 6 at the farm home on Route 2, Bluffton — the same home where she was born in 1873. She could recall the earliest Mennonite congregations of the Swiss Mennonite settlement along the Putnam-Allen county line road.
