MRS. ELIZABETH BOSCHMAN

Mrs. Elizabeth Boschman of Leamington, Ont., went peacefully to be with her Lord on Monday, November 7. She was born on February 10,1910 to John and Liese (Wiebe) Rempel in the Memrick settlement of southern Russia, the third of seven children. When she was 10 years old, a typhoid epidemic claimed her parents. Unsettled conditions forced the family to be separated and Elizabeth went to live with her aunt's family, the Nickolai Tiessens. She experienced genuine love in this family and emigrated with them to Canada in 1925, settling in Kingsville, Onto At this time she accepted the Lord as her personal Saviour and was baptized, joining the Mennonite Brethren Church.

The same year as her baptism, 1929, she married Daniel Boschman. Good health was not always her lot. She spent 1933 and 1934 in a sanitorium in London, Ont. In 1972 she became ill with cancer which slowly took her strength. Uncomplainingly, she communicated her faith to all who visited her until her passing.

Left to mourn are her beloved husband, Daniel; two daughters, Elsa (Mrs. Helmut) Dueckman and Helga (Mrs. Nick) Tiessen; seven grandchildren; one sister, Anna, in Russia; and many friends.
