•  Memorial services are to be conducted Thursday afternoon in the Sister Frieda Memorial Chapel for Mrs. Nettie Pankratz, who died Saturday at the Bethel Home at the age of 102.  A resident of the Home for the past 11 years, she was believed to be the oldest resident of Harvey County.  Mrs. Pankratz was born Jan. 20, 1862 in Michelin, Russia, and was a charter member of the Grace Hill Mennonite Church east of Newton.  Her husband, John Pankratz, preceded her in death.  Surviving are two daughters, one son, six grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.  The funeral will be in charge of Rev. Edmund J. Miller and Rev. John Thiessen.
