Belleville, Pa. &#8212; Release from more than 15 years as an invalid came recently for Mrs. Leah Kurtz, 96, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Aaron J. Peachey.  She had been bedfast since suffering a stroke of paralysis.
 
Mrs. Kurtz was the widow of Joe Y. Kurtz, and her survivors include grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
 
Funeral services at the Valley Amish Church, were conducted by Daniel King and Jesse Spicher.

DIES AFTER 15 YRS. AS AN INVALID

Belleville, Pa. — Release from more than 15 years as an invalid came recently for Mrs. Leah Kurtz, 96, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Aaron J. Peachey. She had been bedfast since suffering a stroke of paralysis.

Mrs. Kurtz was the widow of Joe Y. Kurtz, and her survivors include grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services at the Valley Amish Church, were conducted by Daniel King and Jesse Spicher.
