+ | • Funeral services for Jacob Harder, 60, were held Wednesday afternoon at the Emmaus Mennonite Church near Whitewater, with Rev. L. R. Amstutz officiating, assisted by Rev. John Hoon of Newton. A native of the Whitewater community, Mr. Harder lived in Newton for 19 years before returning to Whitewater a year ago. He was a member of the Newton First Methodist Church. Death came Sunday at the Halstead Hospital after a long illness. |
