A former long-time Newton resident, she died at Bethesda on July 13. Survivors include her husband, John, of Newton; one brother, Ferd Schmidt of Goessel; and three sisters, Olga Pankratz and Esther Klassen of Goessel and Helen Janzen of North Newton. Two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death. | |||

Funeral services for Mary F. Schmidt Golden, 75, of Bethesda Home, Goessel, were held July 16 at Tabor Mennonite Church, rural Goessel, Ray and Brenda Martin Hurst officiated. A former long-time Newton resident, she died at Bethesda on July 13.
