•  Waldo Brand of North Newton and Mrs. Marie Middleton of El Dorado left Tuesday by train for Denver, Colo. to attend funeral services for their brother, Arthur Brandt, 63, who died there Sunday after a long illness.  The funeral was to be held Wednesday afternoon.  A former resident of the Gotebo, Okla. area, Mr. Brandt had lived at Denver for about 15 years.  Surviving in addition to the brother and sister in Kansas are his widow, Martha;  two sons, Melvin and Dennis of Denver; on daughter, Mrs. Dorothea Wilson of Canada; seven grandchildren; a sister Mrs. Hilda Thiessen of Gotebo and brothers Arnold of Gotebo and Jacob of Plainview, Texas.
