<center><h3>17-YEAR-OLD MARYLAND YOUTH INSTANTLY KILLED WHEN AUTO HITS TRAIN </h3> </center>
Hagerstown, Md. &#8212; Funeral services for Leroy E. Martin, 17, who died in a grade crossing crash in Pennsylvania, were held Aug. 29 at the Stouffer's Mennonite Church, Smithsburg, of which he was a member. 
The young man, son of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin C. Martin, was returning home from a visit with his intended bride in York County when his car crashed into a freight train at Blue Ridge Summit, Pa.  The tragedy occurred only a few days before his 18th birthday. 
Two brothers and three sisters survive in addition to the parents.

17-YEAR-OLD MARYLAND YOUTH INSTANTLY KILLED WHEN AUTO HITS TRAIN

Hagerstown, Md. — Funeral services for Leroy E. Martin, 17, who died in a grade crossing crash in Pennsylvania, were held Aug. 29 at the Stouffer's Mennonite Church, Smithsburg, of which he was a member.
