Nampa, Idaho. &#8212; One of the largest funerals held at the Nampa Mennonite Church in a number of years took place May 31 as services were held for Lyle Dean Roth, 27, father of two sons who lost his life in a truck accident.

The fatal accident occurred Monday morning, May 27, when the large fertilizer truck and trailer operated by Mr. Roth hit a soft shoulder between Murphy and Grandview, Idaho, went out of control and overturned. He was dead on arrival at the Nampa Hospital.

Well-liked and respected in the church and community, Mr. Roth was assistant Sunday school superintendent in the Nampa Church.

Survivors include his wife and two sons, of the home; his father and step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Roth, and five brothers, all of Milford, Neb.

Father of Two Dies When Truck Overturns

Nampa, Idaho. — One of the largest funerals held at the Nampa Mennonite Church in a number of years took place May 31 as services were held for Lyle Dean Roth, 27, father of two sons who lost his life in a truck accident.

The fatal accident occurred Monday morning, May 27, when the large fertilizer truck and trailer operated by Mr. Roth hit a soft shoulder between Murphy and Grandview, Idaho, went out of control and overturned. He was dead on arrival at the Nampa Hospital.

Well-liked and respected in the church and community, Mr. Roth was assistant Sunday school superintendent in the Nampa Church.

Survivors include his wife and two sons, of the home; his father and step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Roth, and five brothers, all of Milford, Neb.
