•  Funeral services for Abraham H. Bestvater, 86, who came to Harvey County from South Russia in 1893, were held Saturday at the Alexanderwohl Church.  Mr. Bestvater died April 30 at his home on Route 2, Canton.  He leaves his widow, the former Helena Franz, seven daughters, thee sons, 17 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and two brothers, Henry and John Besstaves of Newton.

Mr. Bestvater died April 30 at his home on Route 2, Canton. He leaves his widow, the former Helena Franz, seven daughters, thee sons, 17 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and two brothers, Henry and John Besstaves of Newton.
