• Sister Gertrude Penner of the Bethel Deaconess Hospital received word that her brother, Waldo H. Penner, 60, died at Arkansas City Tuesday at 11 p.m. after a heart illness of a few weeks. Mr. Penner, a son of the late Rev. H. D. Penner, was associated with the Kansas Gas & Electric Co. in Arkansas City. Survivors include his wife, a son, Lawrence and his wife and two children, of Denver, a daughter, Marilyn of Chimayo, N. M. ; five sisters, Mrs. Walter Niles, Sedgwick, Mrs. J. K. Dirks, Wichita, Mrs. Emil Haury, Tucson, Ariz.; Mrs. A. L. Miller, Partridge, and Sister Gertrude of Newton; also one brother, Albert of Hillsboro. Funeral arrangements are not yet definite. | |||
