TENA (KAY) WIEBE)

Kay Wiebe of Abbotsford, B. C. died on November 1. She was born to Abe and Katherine Wittenberg in Drake, Sask. on February 12, 1926. The family moved to Winnipeg when she was age four, then to Yarrow, B.C. when she was ten. She accepted Jesus as her Saviour at an early age, recommitted her life to the Lord at age 15, and was baptized soon after and joined the Yarrow Mennonite Brethren Church. She became involved in music and teaching Sunday school at the church. She married C.W. (Neil) Wiebe in August 1950. They moved to Abbotsford where she joined the Central Heights Mennonite Brethren Church. The Bible study begun in her home a few years ago had been a source of real joy to her. She is survived by her husband, Neil; three sons and wives: Larry and Martha, Bob and Linda, Marvin and Marge, all of Abbotsford; two granddaughters; brothers Jack Wittenberg of Vancouver and John Wittenberg of Fallis, Alta.; and sister (Mrs.) Erna Dyck of Vancouver. Her funeral was held November 4 in the Central Heights church with pastor Rudy Bosch- man officiating.
