RALPH BOYD STAPLES


Ralph Boyd Staples died May 4. He was born in Maisfield, Sask., Mar. 18, 1935, to Stan and Ella Staples. On Nov. 24, 1961, he married Linda, the love of his life. He farmed in the Hays, Alta. area from 1952 to 1961, then worked as custodian at St. Patrick's School in Taber, Alta. In 1998, after attending a church service in Coaldale, Alta., Ralph accepted Christ as his Saviour and became a joyful follower of Christ. Soon after, he and Linda were baptized and joined the Coaldale MB Church. He enjoyed sports, camping, and spending time with his grandchildren. Predeceased by 1 brother, he is mourned by Linda; children Brenda Wiebe, Sherry (Lance) Unser, Darryl (Krista); 8 grandchildren; 1 brother. The funeral service was May 8 at Coaldale MB Church.
