Louella Mary Baer Short was born May 4, 1906, in Fulton County, Ohio. She was born again in her youth and remained a faithful member of the church until her death. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
On Aug. 16, 1927, Louella was married to Dennis Short at West Liberty, Ohio, by S.E. Alguire. They moved to Phoenix, Ariz., in 1951 for health reasons. Nine years ago they were received as members of the Grace Mennonite Church in Phoenix.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
She died Jan. 31, 1963, at age 76. Services were conducted by Ray L. Smee, Calvin Kennel and James Hays. Burial was at Resthaven Park Cemetery in Glendale, Ariz.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
She is survived by her husband; three sons, Herman J., Edward A. and Paul L.; one daughter, Loueen Burrows of Hesston, Kan.; two brothers, Clarence and Laurence Baer; three sisters, Cora M. Baer, Rosella Schell and Hulda Sauder; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Three sons, Alvin Daniel, Marvin Joseph and Emerson Dale, preceded her in death.&lt;br /&gt;
