Eva Klassen of Herbert, Sask., pass-<br />
ed away May 18 . She was born in Alexander-<br />
tal, Russia on September 7, 1891. The family<br />
immigrated to Canada in 1913 and settled in<br />
the Maple Creek area of Saskatchewan. Mrs.<br />
Klassen accepted the Lord in 1910 and was<br />
baptized in 1911. She married Peter I.<br />
Klassen of Kelstern, Sask . in 1914 and<br />
together they farmed until 1947 when they<br />
retired to the town of Herbert. Mrs. Klassen<br />
was active in MCC work for five years and<br />
was president of the Ladies Aid for many<br />
years . After her husband passed away, she<br />
